I think that is going to be how Patton ends up. I was having a hard time outing him and he had no interest for treats during our FIRST session with this earlier.

KathrynApril Love the pics! I got a similar ball with a wooden handle, but Dinozzo likes the handle more.

Liesje Legend's ball drive just "came in" too! Trying to get through this week with the crappy weather and the dog show and then start some IPO type obedience and tracking with him.

Shade I love the good quality ball on rope combos. Such a versatile and portable tool and most of all - fun!

They have great stuff for great prices, that's for sure. I have a Jute stick from leerburg around somewhere, too. I tend to like wipe-able toys more, though. Blood and jute just doesn't seem to mix, ya know?

I'm also really lucky that I didn't have to teach Patton to fetch, informally. If I throw a toy for him, he brings it back, and is happy to bring this back to me for tugging, too! (better than my almost 2y/o border collie!)

Wow. I love having a tug and ball driven dog. Worked wonders for getting a little flashier obedience and focus on me instead of my hands. He rocked our ~10 minute session, lost a few teeth, and now he's comatose. I'm impressed.

Hoping to get some video of our session up later!
