HarleyTheGSD I do that too. I dream BIG for my pets. The majority of my birthday money usually is spent on them. Lol.
I'd love a 500 gallon aquarium for him with a waterfall setup. That's my goal if I win the lottery.

Blanketback He's about 8" long. Have you seen some of the amazing set-ups people have where they use the outdoor pond prefab shells? That's what I'd like someday. Dreamer, lol. Or have a McMansion with too many bathrooms and give him his own soaker tub. LMAO!

HarleyTheGSD Holy cow, we have a long way to go! How large is he? Mine is maybe five or six inched long. I'm guessing he'll get about 12 inches. Lol. Once again, I'll need another upgrade in the future.

Blanketback That's awesome - way to go! I have a 100 gal. for my RES, but I only fill it halfway. I've had him for over 15 years, closer to 20? And he's not anywhere near full grown yet. Congrats on the great score

New turtle tank!

I have had my red eared slider for about seven years, maybe more. He was so tiny when I first got him, he fit comfortably in a 10 gallon tank. Eventually, he outgrew that, so I moved him into a 30 gallon. He had plenty of space. Now, he is very quickly outgrowing the 30 gallon! So, for the past few months, I've been looking for cheap 55 gallon tanks on Craigslist.
Just last night, I found the best deal! a 55 gallon aquarium with stand, trade for 15 vinyl records. Luckily, my dad has tons of records and was willing to let some go.
We got this thing last night right after I contacted the seller. So now he has a very large tank. I got lucky!!
