Gwenhwyfair Exactly....or just keep things in perspective, give people the benefit of the doubt when ever possible and move on.

There have always been people who are discourteous drivers, people who are distracted by their child in the back seat, people who maybe shouldn't be using the cell phone or people who just flat out make an honest mistake when driving. No one is perfect.

"Going after" these people will not change anything in the big picture of life and the world. So escalating situations that really do not need to be escalated is extremely unwise, especially if you're a woman alone on the road at night in a very small car......

It's the same thing with internet bullies. The idea of being anonymous lets anyone be a big scary person. If your a big person who doesn't allow anyone to disrespect you on the car, that better carry over to the real would because there will be a person who wants to fight, and I guarantee it'll be after they see how big you are in that drivers seat. Be ready to fight for as long as it takes the cops to get there.

Gwenhwyfair YOU are being the bully!!!!!

I have people doing that to me when I have put my lights on to low beam! Do you realize how dangerous that is? I've been totally blinded because people like you flash their brights on so close!!

So when you do it to someone who is innocent then you!!!! Are the bully.

You just wait one day you're going to do it to real bully, (instead of someone like me a 50 year old lady in her small base model SUV) he's going to turn around and road rage on you in the middle of the night. I was reading truck forum about how some of those guys were followed home by an angry driver and bright light dispute.

Did it ever occur to you, in your small car, that you sit lower and therefore lights appear brighter to you?

Because you are intentionally endangering others who may well be innocent .... Let's just say if something bad happens to you driving at night remember it's your karma.

What I don't get is how people start deciding this sort of thing is ok in any way. I have dealt with people and bright lights for over 30 years in driving and I would have NEVER dreamed of waiting til I got up close enough to really blind the crap out of them.

Gwenhwyfair The Harley riders *usually* aren't too bad around here. They tend to ride more cautiously. I have several clients that have ridden 'The Dragon'. We took it in my nice comfy convertible car, leather seats, nice stereo system, rain comes top goes up.....

It's like TW said, the café style bikes zipping around seem to take the most chances.

It's crazy sometimes!

We always just called it The Dragon, or The Dragons Tail...or, if we had a extra busy month getting bikers off the mountain, we would call it Bikers Fly....

On the upside of the mountain, there use to be the back end of a dirt bike, some boots and a helmet positioned to look like someone ran into it. I don't know if it's still there, but it was there to help serve as a warning to be safe. Didn't work much though, but was good for a laugh.

They sure are everywhere, I have a hard time keeping track of them....

Thewretched It's a bad demographic, crotch rockets are geared to 18-30 year olds which is that "invincible" age the same demographic the military uses. Or it's the 50 year old who wants to feel young and reckless again, just treat them the same you do as someone in a civic with neon under it and a exhaust so loud it sounds like a bike

Nigel I use to drive "semi's", horrible job, way too many arses out there driving like fools, don't miss it a bit. I drive a plow/sand truck in the winter now, much more respect, at least from the most folks anyways. There's always a few idiots who ignore the very large sign on the back of my truck saying stay back 50', they figure it out once they notice the sand taking the paint off their hood, lol!
