Sunflowers It's instinct.

Not dominance at this age.

Be calm, ignore it and redirect with a toy. Hans did this a couple of times as a puppy and never did it again.

Fezzik von barry Our gsd has been doing this since he was 8 weeks old ( he's now 15 wks). Our trainer said it's over excitement and it's perfectly normal. She suggested just taking the toy away for a minute or 2 or if you are the toy, just get up. We were told it was not a dominance thing GL!

ApselBear Its just something they do at that age sometimes. It'll pass. If not, you can start redirecting him with other toys.

petite It's not unusual for dogs to show dominance over toys. IMHO it's harmless, unlike humping dogs or people.
