Chicagocanine Barkbox had a deal where you get a free month with your subscription so I figured I'd give it a try. I only signed up for 1 month plus 1 free month so I can't really say how good it is over time. I got the first box about a week ago and it was really nice! It included banana chips (just banana and coconut oil), Primal beef treats, a stuffed eggplant toy, a beef chew, and a roundish sort of chew similar to Nylabone. My dog is 8 months and not picky so he liked all of it. I am always looking for stuff to keep him busy and he goes through treats quickly so I thought it was great.

They do have an option for dogs who have allergies, their FAQ says "Yup, we sure do! We have a special allergy-friendly BarkBox for pups who are allergic to beef, chicken, turkey, gluten, wheat, soy, and corn."

jjk454ss I just hit an email from PawPack for 50% off this weekend. I think I'll do that, it was a decent deal at regular price for 1/2 price I think it's definitely worth it.

All weekend long we are offering a 50% discount on EVERY SINGLE PLAN! This means you get our annual plans which are already reduced at 50% off as well! Massive savings and this is our biggest sale ever.

Just head to www.PawPack.com, select ANY plan, and enter promo code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout for the 50% discount.

annap24 I used BarkBox in the past. It was good, but even though they marked my dog as a "heavy chewer", the toys still didn't last more than a few minutes. Also, they do an allergy friendly box option if you email them. The treats were great and so was the customer service, but I decided it wasn't worth the money.

I now use PetBox. I got it as a groupon deal for half off. I think the deal is still going on. I don't get as much stuff as with the BarkBox, but it's $10 a month with the deal and I get to pick the items or choose to be surprised. I don't think it would be worth the money if I had to pay full price though.

I'm also about to experiment with a new one called Pet Gift Box. I'll get the first box in December. One thing I like about it is you are billed monthly with no commitment and it's cheaper than BarkBox. I'll update after receiving it to let you know about the quality!

Well not specifically, but the Trading Post -> Non-Commercial Trades and Sales. Maybe we could start a single thread in that forum for people to swap.

We've got a bunch of toys and stuff I keep meaning to bring to the humane society or somewhere.

The toys (and some of the treats) were often things you could find in their clearance bin on the website. I think they use these boxes to blow out clearance stock.

As a result, I didn't think the value was good, given that the true value of the products is the clearance bin prices.
Makes sense that they get a good deal on stuff no one else can sell. But, the Pawspack I got did gave some decent treats and a nice quality treat hiding you that is actually pretty nice.
