Charlee's progress

I've now had Charlee for 3 months, and she's 8 months old! At first I was wondering if getting an older pup was the right choice because she hadn't grown up around me, and she was pretty unsure of me. She'd run away because we didn't know how to communicate with each other. It really was upsetting.

After about a month, she finally came around! She only had two potty accidents in the house, and she was potty trained within the first week, but she didn't know how to tell us she needed out. I finally found a bell to hang from the door, and within 3 days she learned to ring it to go out. We started going to obedience/CGC classes in February, and she is doing SO well! It's built her confidence in herself, other dogs, and other people. She can do sit, down, walk on loose lead, and long stays. Shes only been to 3 classes!! The best part is that the instructor had us switch dogs yesterday, and when Charlee switched back to me she was excited to come back. I'm just so proud that our relationship is getting better and better!

I'll share pictures later today when I'm on an actual computer
