Creeden6 Well we are officially recovered! Back to his normal happy hyper self, eating his regular food and driving his big brother (our Dane) absolutely nuts! Lol

K9POPPY Good news for you! Vets often recommend feeding chicken/rice until the dog's digestion recovers-. Bob

Creeden6 Blood work was redone today and due to elevated white cells he prescribed antibiotics, no X-rays were done. He palpated his stomach, checked his throat and could find nothing. He is not dehydrated but is dropping weight due to not eating. He gave him something to stimulate his appetite but has not worked. Vet said he is not so concerned as long as he is drinking water for now.

jocoyn Updates? I agree. How is the pup? You don't have a lot of time IF it is a blockage issue.

zyppi Take your pup to vet, the sooner the better.

Lethargic worries me worse than anything.

jocoyn Was the blood work and vet visit AFTER he became lethargic and would not eat? Did the vet do x-rays? I would be concerned about a blockage. It is amazing how quickly they can suck down something like a sock.
