Diesel7602 thank you all for taking time and answering. As you can tell im a first time gsd mom. The only dog i had before, was a boxer and he had to have his ears clipped and pined up.

SunCzarina Perfectly normal at that age, especially when adult teeth are coming in. Get many chew toys and ice. A wet frozen dishcloth works well.

Athena'sMom Perfectly normal! My puppy had one ear up the other down, both ears up, both down. They do a little dance till there cartilage firms up!

KHLOE I just got a new GSD as well and both her ears are up. Started doing some research seems like before the cartilage has harden they may go to flop down that is why some people choose to glue their dogs ears for some time just to keep them up while their ear cartilage hardens. I am not sure if you like your dogs ears up better than down you may want to look into gluing his ears.

Is it normal for the ears to go up, then back down? Here is a pic of when one went up. And a week later there down.
