Probiotics and grumbly tummy?

My Shay used to be bombproof until about a year and a half. Then, we started with the grumbly tummy squeakers. I found that if he has the squeaker, a probiotic stops in about 20 minutes. For awhile it was so bad that every time I took him someplace I had a pill pocket and probiotic pill with me (one that didn't need refrigeration). Since I am VERY concerned about bloat, I spent quite a bit of time fine-tuning a regimen for him. We found that TOTW bison is the best kibble, but that still comes up with the odd squeaker every few weeks. I added Animal Essentials Plant Animals & Probiotics powder and it stopped completely.

Anyone else using probiotis to control tummies?
