Juliem24 I know it's only Tuesday, but I'm so upset I had to write two days early.
I adopted the guy in December, and after much hard work, many grievous errors and a lot of learning on my part, I finally have a guy whom I can walk without having a traumatically dislocated shoulder, will never pee or poop or chew in the house, won't counter surf or beg, and only alert barks twice. He is eating without complaint and is nice and shiny and doesn't stink. However, I married my husband 41 years ago, and suddenly he has started peeing in the house, complaining about his food, barking and snarling and forging at strangers, will no longer come when called, won't down stay to save his life...and is generally going to the dogs. Sir, in your opinion, is this because I never had him neutered? Will neutering him now stop his aggressive testosterone-fueled behavior? I am thinking seriously of re-homing, but he does have a history and I'm not sure if anyone will take him. Please advise.
