Sunflowers Could be an injury or canine herpes.

erintaylor1995 He jumps around so much I just had to keep him there. Lol. He hates when you try to look at anything on his face. There isn't a bump there or anything. It's just red. I'll just keep an eye on it.

Shade Possibly lip fold pyoderma? Delgado had it for the first time this winter. Penaten Cream which only cost me $5 at a local store cleared it up within two days

sehrgutcsg To me it does NOT look like a fungus. If it were, I would think it would have a raised black spot and I would recommend Tolnaftate cream, (Tinactin) from the drug store. Same stuff the vet charges $18.00 for...

It looks like a scrape.. I would not be too concerned. Give it a day or two, maybe three and keep a close eye on it..

By the way, nice head lock on the dog for photo...

blackshep How long has it been there? Is it a bump, or do you think he scraped it?

My dog gets demodex flare ups and lips are a common area for that to happen. It usually goes away after a little while

Redness?

So I noticed Nuk has some redness on his lip. It doesn't seem to bother him but I don't know if I should give it time or get it checked out. He doesn't seem to be messing with it but it worries me. [IMG][/IMG]
