|Stosh||Stosh never chewed bedding or anything in his crate but like Shanna said you're better off with nothing in there for now. Check out leerburg.com- they sell a nice orthopedice fleece pad that's completely washable and very durable|

|Shade||I'd rather them be safe on the plastic then chance having a blockage. Thankfully neither of my dogs have ever chewed on their beds|

|LoveEcho||Neither of my dogs can have bedding in their crates with them They will inevitably rip it up and try to eat it. I'm completely paranoid about dogs eating bedding (I knew a dog who ended up with a blockage from eating a towel in her crate, she died during surgery), so unless they can be trusted 100%, I go the "better safe than sorry" route and have no bedding at all.|

|kakarot||Hm.. maybe we're overdue for some new sheets then.. hahah. We don't have tooooo many bed sheets atm since we have a king bed and they can get pricey. Might just have to sacrifice one. x:|

Yea Zoe tried to eat her crate bed as well. I have lots of old sheets from the kids so I use those. She will tug and dig but hasn't actually ripped any up.

He's over due for a new one since he grew out of it, but since he's teething, he literally chews on and rips off fluff pieces and tries to flippin' eat it.. I'm sure he would've eaten the whole bed by now. We tried using a folded up bed sheet and he just messes it up and chews holes in it.. so we haven't kept any kind of bed/blanket/etc. in there for his safety and he's been sleepin' on the tray thing in there. What can I use in there for him to lie on as an alternative? Something that can't be eaten. Lol. Those beds aren't cheap so we don't wanna spend a billion dollars on something he's just gonna eat.
Chew toys in there don't help.. he'd rather eat the bed for some reason.
