The Parasol Protectoret series by Gail Carriger (Paranormal Steampunk)
The Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop (Fantasy)
The Ephemera series by Anne Bishop (Sebastian book #1 being my favorite) (Fantasy)
Almost all the Sarah Dessen books (I read these all through junior high/high school) (YA Fiction)
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor (LOVE Alice in Wonderland remakes)
Sunshine by Robin McKinley (Vampire novel)
Identical, Impulse and Perfect all seperate books by Ellen Hopkins (YA Fiction)
Once Upon a Winters Night by Dennis L. McKiernan (Fantasy/Retelling of East of the Sun West of the Moon)
The Hunger Games series (The books were fantastic and made the movies more of a companion to them)
The Host by Stephanie Meyers (Fantasy/Sci-Fi and surprisingly good despite the Twilight series)
Harry Potter series by JK Rowling (But who hasn't read them haha)
I'm a giant book worm and my list could go on forever I have well over 500 books. I used to work at a giant bookstore/amazon z-shop and we got to keep the discard and could buy the books for the cheapest list price from amazon.

|brightspot||I'll listen to anything George Guidall reads! I like the Dragonriders series by Anne McCaffrey and the Chet and Bernie series by Spencer Quinn. This series is told from the point of view of Chet, a dog, who is Bernie's partner in a detective agency. Really fun books!|

|Liesje||Agree, Sue. That's why I love HP so much. Stephen Fry is great but Jim Dale is just fantastic. There have been times I re-watch one of the movies and wonder why a certain scene is missing...then I remember the scene was never in the movie, it was in my mind as read by Jim Dale, yet so real.|

Love the Mercy thompson books- Frostburned is thwe newest due out in March. I like the Gabriel Allon seriescant remember the author. I love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series ,time travel fantasy but heavy on historical fiction. There are 7 books I t5hink with a new one coming out this summer.I also started reading Terry Spears Wereolf, vampire stuff ,really light reading and fun.I also love the Mac Faraday murder mystery series that has Gnarly the GSD who is a former MWD but the army wont say why he isnt with them anymore. Lover's in Crime is also by the author of the Mac Fararday series Lauren Carr. This one is set in Chester WV and East Liverpool ,ohio and around Pittsburgh . Its really well written and I lkie the fact I know the area she's set it in.
I also like Sharon Kay Perlman and Im reading the biography of Catherine the Great right now.I have a nook and a kindle and I have about 300 books between the two. I love the Chet and Bernie series starting w/ Dog on It and To Fetch a Theif. Spencer Quinn writes that series.

But what hooked me on her was The Bone Garden, it was the first book I read of hers and it's still my favourite by far of all the books she's done.
