SARpup Yeah I stuck all the stuffed toys in the wash the other day to get clean, they were starting to stink! They came out fine and my washer is so good, they were almost dry coming out so I just left them out to sun dry for an hour. The Kong, I just wash in the sink never thought to run in through the dishwasher. Darius is actually eating it now! I need to be better about picking it up and washing it soon after he is done, he hasn't figured out to keep digging at it till all the stuff is out, he is super ADD and he gets distracted when it gets down to the bottom and he has to work to get it out!

Wild Wolf I put them through the washer and dryer with hypoallergenic detergent I use only for dog stuff.

Oisin's Aoire You mean like Kongs and stuff? I just rinse them off if they look or feel too gacky. It is not uncommon to see my 2 year old boy with the Kong ..enjoying it.Gross? A little. He is probably developing the immune system of a viking though lol He is actually never sick. Must be something to that

Stuffed toys don't live long enough to get washed.

DellaWrangler Just FYI, avoid washing anything with a squeaker in the washing machine. Della's favorite stuffed gorilla started sounding falsetto after I washed it Wiping down with a moist towel seems to be the way to go with those.

I would like to wash them but wondered if that was no good. I figured I could put them through the washing machine and the dryer, thinking twice through the wash, second time with no soap.
Stuffed toys? What are those? Those don't last in my house long enough to wash, they don't make it five minutes

Shaolin Yup. I have a mesh laundry bag I load all the toys into and it goes in the washer and dryer. I just use half the amount of laundry detergent so I can be sure they aren't going to get sick off of any un-rinsed detergent.

nktigger99 You can wash hard and soft toys in the washer. Use a large mesh laundry bag makes it easier. I was all my kids toys, legos to stuffed toys in the machine.

trcy The plastic balls and other toys that are plastic type I have washed in a very diluted bleach solution. Then rinsed off really well. The flies seemed really attracted to those toys. This was many yearsd ago. After I wahsed them the flies left them alone.
