Galathiel Furry cats do seem 'large'. My sister came in a few months ago and said my cat had really filled out. I placed my hands on her sides and showed her that she was flat as a pancake. She has lots of cottony fur under her long hairs and it makes her look, as Gabriel Iglesias would say .. "Fluffy". She weighs 7 lbs. on her fat days.

No that cat's not hughe he's fat, he's shaped like a a football. !He might be big but not that big! He looks like a cutie but he needs to lose some weight.
LOL, it looks that way I know, and he does weigh nearly 7 kg, but I promise he's in proportion, I think the way he's lying on the corner of the dog bed creates the football illusion.. I'll have to take another photo of him to prove it!

Sure looks like a Maine Coon to me, we just rescued a Maine Coon male 4 years 10 months old and he's about 20 lbs. They are known to get huge, look him up on wiki they're huge, friendly and love to play. 47 different color patterns. here's a pic of ours who after 2 weeks is finally starting to get along with 16 week old puppy Rebell
