GSDBriard Yep! It's kind of sad..someone taught him how to sit and shake, he hasn't had an accident in the house so someone spent time house training him, someone loved him enough at one point to teach him these things.

I won't judge the previous owners because you never know what kind of situation they were in at the time.

Their loss is certainly my gain though!

LifeofRiley Congrats on your new addition! He sounds like a great dog. I love the pics too! My dog is also a foster failure... it truly is amazing how many great dogs wind up in shelters.

GSDBriard He's about 10 months old (estimated) I fostered him for the SPCA and ended up keeping him.

Working with my recent foster failure (Watson)

I'm amazed how well he's learning basic leash and house manners. He's such a well adjusted young dog! It took awhile to get decent photos of him because he would not stay at all and would give me a terrified look if I managed to get him to stay.

It's not perfect..but I got a few shots.
