JeanKBBMMMAAN I would also check out a vet teaching hospital - there's Wisconsin, Michigan, Purdue, not sure of all in that area but I bet google can help. I would bring all his records - not just the summary sheet but vet notes, each test, blood work, etc. Typically they have multiple services and can talk to each other quickly plus a number of people who will be putting their brains on the case.

Nikitta God, you poor thing. And your poor dog. I hope things work out for you.

Susan_GSD_mom Someone suggested a vet school...It would be a drive for you, but I would recommend Michigan State University Veterinary School. Perhaps there's something closer to you, but I really would highly recommend MSU in East Lansing, MI.

kimik929 oh, and as far as his weight-he is too thin, you can see every single rib and his bones. Its embarrassing-I know it shouldnt be-but still totally is.. people make comments about him all the time...

kimik929 They crystals they said they found the first time ended up being a guess, we found out later. Not a fact-proven by the health records when sent to the next 3 vet clinics. He has had ultrasounds on his pancreas, bladder, uretha, and i don't recall the others-but also xrays on the same areas.
The black tar they believe was caused by his projectile vomiting causing and ulcer in his throat -the was aggravated by continuous vomiting. and then bled.
I do not believe the testing happened as you mentioned-i know he has been on a few antibiotics.. and for extensive periods of time...

gsdsar Black tar stool, is an indication of blood high in the GI tract. Not in the lower intestine, but digested or large intestinal bleeding. I would have him checked for an ulcer.

His aggression could easily be linked to feeling bad. I would ask for a referral to an internal medicine specialist o a vet school. I would get a urine culture and an ultrasound.

Good luck.
