Nigel Might be her age, as she gets a little older she may figure out when her human is sick and let up on demands. I had the flu earlier this year and my two female gsds seemed to understand, although they would still bring me a ball/toy to see if I was willing to play.

gsdemack Thanks. I really would love if she liked the Kong's. Is it normal that she doesn't seem to realize that I'm sick?

Harry and Lola Can you give her a puzzle ball or toy to keep her occupied? I use a Kong Wobbler sometimes and put their breakfast kibble in it with larger pieces of dried liver that can't come out and it keeps them occupied for hours - they have to really work to get their food and it does tire them out.

Otherwise give her a large meaty bone or a nylabone if you prefer.

It won't hurt her to miss out on exercise for a day or 2.

Get better soon
