|crackem||what are the dogs like at those two breeders? Which one has the dogs that act like you want your dog to act? That should be priority #1 Get past that, then get into the rest|

" then I see ddr are handler soft, less biddable , more protective, etc. And have lower drives and are not good sports dogs....."
you have to look at the pedigree, understand what was trying to be accomplished

The lines have been so mixed since the iron curtain fell that there is no clear delineation. Even when there was, it came down to the individual dog.
I would talk to people in the know, see the dogs in person, and make the decision based on what you see in front of you, not what the line description is.

confused on ddr and czech
So I will be putting a deposit down really soon and choosing between two breeders. One breeding is full ddr, other is ddr, Czech, wgwl mix. Doing research I see that there is not much difference, then I see ddr are handler soft, less biddable , more protective, etc. And have lower drives and are not good sports dogs.....
Are there certain characteristics that come with ddr in general as opposed to mixing? What are the benefits of ,mixing both?
I have been trying to figure this out for days and my brain hurts lol
