After 2 years and 2 months, my Mom can see again!

My mother has had dry eye for years and years. Well, about 2.5 years ago, she thought she had pink eye, and put some meds in there. Didn't work.

Went to the doctor, and the doctor thought it was pink eye and gave her more meds. She kept putting the meds in there, but it wasn't working.

She went to a specialist. And they decided that she had something else and gave her steroids and antibiotics. On Christmas Eve two years ago it ruptured. Two days later they did the first surgery to replace the cornea.

Something was eating the cornea. She went back a few weeks later and the new surgeon rushed her back into surgery where the new cornea ruptured the moment he touched it. They put a patch in and another cornea. And then they started doing Anti-virals and antibiotics and making tears out of her blood.

Last Monday she went under the knife again. This time to take out a huge cateract, that was solid black, and to replace the corena again. They had a lense specialist in there as well as this surgeon. Anyway, today they took the lense out and she can see out of it.

It's really awesome, thought I'd share.
