Chip18 LOL, the funny part is you spend a few days thinking...did I close that "whatever there opening" before you figure out!

I finally "saw" Rocky doing it one time, wouldn't have minded if he would also close the slider!

LoveDogs I had dogs open the refrigerator, open the oven door, open doors, man the list goes on. The oven was no biggy, they would never eat what was inside but if you didn't notice right away your good were not cooked/baked properly. The refrigerator irritated me to no end. The stupid child proof refrigerator locks would never hold up. I eventually went to duct tape. We put child proof locks on everything, even got those doorknobs things that would spin instead of letting you a grip. That dog was awesome but so very intelligent and naughty!

I use old, small, cleaned out marrow bones sort of like a kong...I stuff them with pumpkin, coconut oil, peanut butter etc and freeze them, to be used as a treat.
Today I gave one to each of my 2 dogs today and went about my chores. After some time I realized that Stella was still enjoying her treat. Seemed like a bit too much time had gone by for her to still be eating. I got up and checked and not only did she have a new one, there were 6 others already eaten! She was quite proud of herself. The freezer door was closed but not sealed (if that makes sense).
So either Stella somehow opened it and had herself a little party, or I didn't close it all the way and she helped herself....

Hoping the latter happened.
Years back we had a cat that could open the fridge! The GSD and the St. Bernard would just wait? We had whole chickens and roasts etc. go missing! Eventually we had to bungee cord the fridge door!

katdog5911 There hasn't been any more bone raiding of the freezer, so I must not have closed it all the way...whew. But Stella keeps sitting in front of it and sniffing. I think she is trying to figure out how it works!

What really cracks me up is that she just takes one at a time.
Now that's discipline!
