Charlie W Thanks for that, I have just had a call from the vet, it looks as though it's just a haematoma. He's probably knocked his face somehow playing with the GSD.. I'm so relieved

Hard lump on muzzle..

My dobie has developed a hard lump on his muzzle, towards the front, it's about 2cm in length. He doesn't mind it being touched, he has no other ill effects and there are no puncture-type marks inside or outside his mouth. I noticed it yesterday but didn't think it needed the emergency vet so I have taken him in this morning and he is being kept in for x-rays etc. I'm quite worried about him

Anyone had anything similar?
