Tucker-Lisa I have my first GSD as well tho he is now 2 yrs. they can be a challenging breed! I had a golden retriever for 14 yrs and it has been a learning curve on the different breed traits, lol. Mine has a high play drive, I found my golden was more of a pleaser where my GSD can be very intense, Lol. Everybody will have a different experience but don't give up and have patience and have fun!!

Sp00ks Raising a GSD takes dedication. They aren't like most toy breeds. I would only recommend them to very experienced dog owners. Frankly, they are a lot of work.

New Owner

I am a new owner of a german shepherd. I used to own a toy dog but when my little dog passed away I thought of getting a GS instead of similar one. I am new here and I want to learn how I can be a good GS owner.
