Keep 'em crossed It has taken a while! Kitten moved in here two months ago, and I was super careful to make slow intros, and Always stop Jack in his tracks from chasing games. After all that, I have to admit that I think the kitten totally knows what going on and uses his "protected" status to be cruel to the dog.

He totally taunts and teases, and then just when Jack thinks his cautiously friendly overtures will being rewarded with a kiss or some playtime, *evil* kitten emerges with a warning swat, and Jack has to back off and go mope it's actually kinda hilarious to watch, but I have to nip in the bud because Jack literally looks so forlorn when his advances are thwarted. Poor boy!

That shot was of the first time the kitten curled up on the dog, and it was soo cute to watch Jack lying there "pretending" to sleep, just so the kitten wouldn't freak out. He kept sneaking peeks at the Ki-Ki and then turning his head back away and closing his eyes again. I was just giggling silently, and beaming inside
