I have a suggestion, talk to your guidance counselor or a teacher you trust..Your situation does not sound like a good one for either you or your animals.

My parents won't let me re-home the dogs. They keep telling me they love them but when I ask them why do they keep them in the basement they just ignore me and repeat that I will not put them in the shelter. These pictures I took from last autumn to now (The brightest photo with the buildings). I took many photos of the lake during snow season ... well not that many at the time I didn't have gloves and no coat (wore two jackets) and it was freezing. Also my shoes had holes so my socks were all damp and changed to color blue for some reason. Not a good time to take pictures but took them anyway

Nikitta Gads I thought my family was bad growing up. My mom would never mistreat an animal or allow anyone else to. Get help. Get those dogs out of there and talk to someone.

Mocha If the puppies are being neglected and abused, animal control should be called to pull them.

Yes, it sounds not okay to live here but for the most part, besides my older sister purposely harming the dogs to upset me (stepping on their paws, kicking them, telling others to hurt them, step on their tails), my mother constantly ignoring me, my dad always siding with the others, my little sister joining my older sister, and more, it's pretty decent.

Some of the plus sides are that I do have my own room now. I used to have to cry silently on the top bunk bed in a doorless room connected to the living room. Not saying that for pitying, but it's a nice feature to have a place to you know, let go. And be alone.

I also have a phone (I never wanted one but my dad keeps trying to make me have one). It's a pretty neat phone with a camera, and on walks I take pictures of the sky and sometimes I look at those pictures because it's so pretty to me.

It might seem mediocre but I visit this nice hill in this landfill because it's really nice to see the sky without buildings blocking it.

Germanshepherdlova I'm very sorry to read this. My advice is to call a rescue to place these pups in a safe home. And then do not get any more pups until you are grown up and have your own place. It's not fair to the pups to be treated this way.
