An easy way to try your hand at raw feeding, is to start with a "partial raw" diet. You can purchase The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated food called "Preference", add water to it (to allow it to RE-hydrate) and then mix in ground meat, such as turkey, chicken or beef!
Example: Daily for a 30 to 50 pound active puppy (this amount should be divided for a pup):
2/3 Cup Preference
1 Cup Water (I add a little more)
1 & 1/3 Cup Ground Meat
Mix Preference with water and let set for 10 minutes to allow it to RE-hydrate.
Mix in ground meat
Divide portion per your pups feeding schedule
A 7# box contains 33 cups (dry), will last approximately 50 days feeding this amount and cost $55.

Best 5-Star Dry Puppy Foods
everyone has different opinions on kibble. dog food advisor is a good place to start reading up on foods. YOu dont have to pick a 5 star food I linked, but you can read about them and find one you like or see what they have in common (meat >>>> corn/fillers)
There's a whole forum with info about raw too and lots of people here feed that

What to feed him?
Currently my 2month old is on purina puppy (which I've heard bad reviews on) and was considering a higher end brand. I've come across information about a raw diet which I'm seriously considering. Which should I go with?
