mcdanfam We had this recently...Millie was in pain....it was from a stick being jammed in her gums or mouth. After she healed no more slobber...until it is time to sit in front of her bowl and wait for the command to eat.

excessive salivation

Any one else have or have had this???
I have a 7yo male gsd who started to drip saliva from his mouth about a month ago. He seems in good health, no tooth, mouth, throat or digestive problems.... eating ,drinking and pooping just fine. No new food or treat changes. No change in mood or actions. Just slopping up the place with drool, he is a sweetheart but the wet carpet is starting to get old.
Any ideas what's going on??
