DJEtzel Parvo has been thought to do physical and mental damage during development, yes. I don't know about any science behind it, everything I have seen has been anecdotal both physically and mentally. I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure he's a healthy weight for his size, feed him as necessary, love him.

Cassidy's Mom I'm not an expert, but it seems likely that being that ill would set him back, at least temporarily. I wouldn't worry too much in the long run though, he should eventually catch up.

Wanting advice about Max

Ok so at 9wks Max got parvo and was admitted to the hospital for a week. I never gave up on him because I knew he was a fighter and sure enough he pulled through it. Now he is 4 months but only weighs 30 lbs. Some days he looks skinny but most days he looks well fed. But I know he under sized since his weight is like most puppies his age. Would getting parvo prevent Max from weighing more.
