Oisin's Aoire and that is not my husband there with me lol That is his gun that I am shooting ..he is about 6'2 and I am 4'11 . Stock is pinned to a good length for a tall guy.

Silliest law ever...if the stock freely telescopes , it is an "evil feature" and banned. Meanwhile , you can pin it to the longest or shortest length. So it is not "evil" unless it can telescope 4 inches in either direction . Crazy .

Oisin's Aoire Yes , very off balance. The gun has a 13" LOP and I require about a 10 "LOP . I have to stand sideways in order to shoulder it AND reach the trigger. If I stand straight and correctly I can't reach the trigger. That is why I was complaining about adjustable stocks on ARs being illegal in NJ..my husband and I have to each buy one ( and they are not cheap ) and have the stock "pinned" in the appropriate length for each of us.

The 30-30 lever carbines are fine ..but my Mini 14 is a tad too long. Anything classic like an M1 Garand and I am standing sideways. Here is me shooting my friend's AR 15 build with a standard 12" LOP. Here in New Germany we are have to have the stocks pinned so they are no longer "adjustable" . You can see how I have to turn sideways in order to accommodate a standard length rifle. I'm 4'11.

Is it me, but the posture seems to be off balance?

I used to have one. Very good for plinking and small game. Accurate. I shot my first deer with a 22mag.have to head shot them though. I would prefer a 17 if I was hunting with it. But the good thing about guns is that it never really matters what someone else thinks.

I don't but, if it feels good in your hand, and you are comfortable with it, that's all you can ask for in a firearm.
