|marbury||Yep. It can cycle through most of the long bones, sometimes appearing twice in the same limb (although rarely the same bone, as Jake said). I have a pup with pano who still limps on occasion at over 16 months.|

It can be recurring and from what I've read, is common up to 2 years in large-boned dogs. It generally won't affect the same long bone twice.
We've had two bouts of pano now.. one at about 7 months and the second at around 12 months. We're at 18 months with no issues since.
The best help I've found is anti-inflammatories and no work for the duration.

Major had PANO about 2.5 months ago.. It went through the phases of each leg.. He had it really bad!! Well, it appears as though he has it again in the front right leg. He will sit in front of me and just put his paw up on my leg.. same thing he did last time. Our vet is on vacation but will be back on Monday but in the meantime I just wanted to ask.. is it common for it to reoccur again.. I was thinking we were through the woods..
Please let me know.
