havery Thank you all for your help! I just adopted an older male from a breeder today and he said he fed his the 4health grain free, and gave his schutzhund dogs the diamond athlete/raw. I think I'm going to give the 4health a try for a bit since that's what our new guy is already eating and see how she does on it.

Zookeep I feed 4Health to all of our dogs and they are doing great on it. I feed the salmon and potato variety, which is made by Diamond. If you are concerned about feeding Diamond products, the 4Health grain-free varieties are not made by Diamond. They are made by Ainsworth.

Do they have the salmon in grain free? I have only ever seen whitefish. Not real sure what the difference is in quality of fish and nutrients but I have always fed salmon when fish is the protein source so just want to make sure I am not missing one of their bags. From what I have seen they have whitefish in grain free and salmon in grain inclusive.

Also to the OP, you had mentioned you did not want to feed TOTW because of all the recalls but just FYI I believe that 4health is also made by diamond but they are just inclusive to tractor supply. 4health is cheaper though but still thought worth mentioning in the event you were trying to avoid diamond all together.

Chicagocanine I've seen Blue Wilderness, Wellness and other fairly good foods at a Tractor Supply.

My UPS guy delivers at the end of my driveway outside the fence as well. He is not at all scared of my dogs, that is just something they are told to do.

I could ship, but I'd rather not, we're rural enough the only carrier that can find my house is UPS and he's so scared of Sofie he drops everything at the end of the driveway and I'm done using them. Any advice? Also, I may pop over to the raw diet, but that sounds like a lot of work (I've got two small children, one is a baby on bottles).
Tractor supply in our area carries Diamond Naturals. I've heard 4 Heath is ok but my dogs like the Diamond Naturals better.

She always gives a warning bark whenever someone drives or walks up. But she doesn't charge the fence or growl. She's really not aggressive. And if we're not home she's inside. Our neighbors down the road that have boxer mix says he does the same with their stuff. I've complained numerous times (including when he left my package containing a car seat by the road!) and nothing has been done.
