leos mama Thank you Mom2GSDs & GatorBytes......the stones aren't bugging him at all......since his pneumonia is pretty much cleared.......he's been able to get up n walk around.......since the diet change he's been more alert like his old self....I'll ask the vet as to what kind of stones he has.....thank you

Diet change and some herbals can break up some crystals and flush them out. Helps to know what kind your dog has. Did the vet tell you? If not call and ask, let us know

12 years old is pretty risky with anesthesia, especially after pneumonia.
How much trouble are the stones causing him?

Hi...I have a 12 year male German shephard that is just getting over pneumonia.....at the same time he has bladder stones.....he's on the hills science diet medication already.and also taking medication .....the vet is suggesting he have surgery to get them out......I was just wondering if you guys have any suggestions or advice ..... Thank you
