Jackthelad He gets 3 hours exercise every day. Does he need more than that at 11 months old ?. Also I didn't know carbs made them hyper, I was told its protein that does it. I've been misinformed then.the analytical constituents are
Crude protein 27%
Crude oils. & fats 15%
Crude fibres 3.5%
Crude ash 7%

Salmon 24%
Potato 15%
Salmon meal 11%
Potato protein 11%
Barley, oats, poultry fat, peas sugar beet pulp, salmon digest, salmon oil, minerals, vitamins

Castlemaid It's probably not the protein that is making him hyper, but the carbs. You may need to increase his exercise too.

Have you tried a raw meat diet? I can help to get a dog calmer and more focuses.

Jack is hyper

My 11 month old GSD jack has had to have his food changed to hypoallergenic dry food coz of his tummy, only now he is hyper, bounding round and won't stop barking. His protein is 27% in this new food. Is that to high. And if so for his age what should it be. His food is made up by experts in doggy nutrition. Help he is waring me out lol.
