trcy I'm attributing the GSD itching from the dry winter air and his love of the swimming pool. I know I have dry skin with cracking fingers....not fun. I should really use some type of cream/lotion.

Momto2GSDs Did he get any vaccinations or a topical flea/tick application in the last month?
What is the name of the treats you are using?
Is he getting anything like bread from the table or something like potato chips, popcorn or eating anything new?
Did you start any new supplements or oils?

Itching from food or winter?

So I've had Deeks on orijen lbp for about three months now due to some digestive issues with the countless other foods I've had him on in the past. He seems to do better digestive wise on this food but for the past 2 weeks he's been itching obnoxiously all over bitting himself. He doesnt seem to have fleas and the skin doesnt look red but he is pulling some undercoat out. It has gotten a little colder out. Down to like 30 instead of 40.

So my question is can the food all of a sudden be.causeing allergies from a build.up of something? I just opened a new bag and dont.really want to waste it if it turns.out not to be the reason and its one of the only foods that doesnt cause diarrhea.
