jazzyrome Ok I'm for sure taking him in tomorrow. She told me it's to late to sedate him, so we would have to wait either way.

jocoyn When that happened to Beau, it was minor. Sedation without full anesthesia and not that expensive. ...........

gsdsar Don't freak out. It happens. If it keeps bleeding, or causes him pain, take him in. I would probably consider taking him in anyway and having it removed. As it is now open to infection.

He is a baby, he will still be growing his adult teeth. Baby teeth are notoriously less than stable.

jocoyn Yes, they may want to pull it because it can get infected and impact the developing adult tooth.

Help please. Canine tooth broke in half and is bleeding.

Ok so I'm trying to stay calm. My 13 week old puppy just snapped his left canine tooth in half. It was bleeding and I managed to stop it. He was playing with his rope and he yanked to hard and it just snapped. He didn't flinch or cry. He just kept playing. I called the vet and she said if it continues bleeding bring him him, otherwise wait and see how he's doing tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone? Any advise? I'm totally freaking out.
