|KZoppa||I tethered with Shasta though I didn't need to for very long with her and I tethered with Dax and with him, it was off and on as needed until recently! Its effective!|

|wyoung2153||I will let her mom know she got her from a breeder, I know that much, not sure where though. I know for sure I will be doing something of the sort when I get my puppy next year!|

|AugustGSD||That is a gorgeous Akita pup. I wanted an Akita, but couldn't afford a purebred and I refuse any mix when it comes to that particular breed. I leash August in the house sometimes tonavoid destruction. I really think if I ever have another puppy that I will do it from the start. Its a good way to get stuff done, and keep an eye on the dog.|

|Cassidy's Mom||I've never tethered a puppy to me before, but I have used a lightweight nylon leash as a drag line for my last 3 puppies. If they tried to wander off I could just grab the leash if I was sitting on the floor with them, or step on it if I was standing. VERY handy!|

Leashing while in the house...
So I have never done this before.. Titan was always pretty good and I just thought I didn't need to with athena... let me just say something.. wow.. I was wrong lol. I am puppy sitting an 11 week old Akita and she is this little investigator.. can't follow her around all the time and I was getting frustrated because I couldn't do anything. Lol I finally resorted to leashing her to me..... brilliant.. just brilliant. Lol that's all.. just wanted to share my discovery that you all have known and been telling people lol..
