Hunter's Dad What a great story! Some nursing home residents dont have visitors from family and friends, Very sad. So your visit with your dogs brought alot of joy and happiness to some lonely folks during the holiday season when they need it the most. Great job Midnite and Batman!

Midnite is certified. I wasn't even thinking therapy with him, then the evaluators asked if I was testing him. I wasn't and they highly recommended it and here we are. He has had no training besides obedience, but yet instinctively figured it out. The evaluators really pushed me, so I have to believe they seen something about him that made them sure he could do it.

Bridget Good for Midnite. That is great, especially being his first time. Your foster is cute; I can see the husky.

I also took my black lab, Cori, to a nursing home for the first time and she also did well. She wore a santa hat and they loved that. I had to promise her a long walk after if she would wear the hat. I am thinking of training her as a therapy dog. Does Midnite have therapy certification?

llombardo I can't even begin to explain how proud of Midnite I am. He is a natural and he loved being there. I can say without a doubt that out of all my dogs I was right on the money choosing Midnite to do this stuff. I believe that the golden puppy I have will also do well with it. My female GSD is a wonderful dog, but I don't think that she would do as well as Midnite. Those people doing the testing that day pushed me with Midnite, so they must have saw something, because they were right.
