I agree with Chris, I read back on some of your past postings, and apparently emma is very destructive when left alone?? Is she still like that??
Could be SA. Not all dogs are going to be alike just because they are czech/whatever line ..
Mine has never destroyed a thing, she's been left out of a crate since she was around 6 mths old..again, not all dogs alike,
As chris said it might be better to post what issues your having and get some input on correcting those specific issues

The only info people can share, especially without knowing what specific dogs are in the pedigree, are very broad generalizations and sterotypes... and like all generalizations and stereotypes they only fit some dogs and there are plenty of dogs who don't follow those at all.
If you can provide a pedigree, people may be able to provide more insight. But ultimately though I think it would probably be more productive to just discuss the specific things you are seeing in your dog, and what problems you're having, rather than try to pin them on bloodlines. To a point, the bloodlines don't matter.. the dog is what she is, regardless of what her pedigree says she should be.

My female is czech/ddr,,she is the most "czech" of any dog I've had to date, yeah she's a wild one, but as she's matured out, she is the BEST
Not sure what your emma is like, but I love mine) Loads of energy, med defense drives, med prey drive, very aloof with strangers, guardy of "me", approachable but again, aloof, has a nose that doesn't quit...VERY easy to train..

Wondering if anyone could direct me to information on behavior differences in the Czech GSD's? I found some basic history. Emma and I have both lived to her 1st birthday but it was dicey! I have had GSD's my entire 49 years and Emma is completely different behavior-wise. Her dad is Czech and mom DDR. Thanks in advance!
