I would go back to basics and put a prong collar on him.
You never want to get in a tug of war situation.

|Mary Beth||My Sting did that at about 8 months - it was just pent up energy. I was able to take him to an off leash area and that did settle him down. If you can't do that, then play tug with him - but be sure to end with him winning, that will also give him an outlet. I use tug as a reward after a leash walk and short obedience session.|

A little help please
Hi all, I haven't been on for a while, but need a little help.
Sam has been walking well loose leash, now of all a sudden, it's play tug of war. I usually end up letting go of the leash, because he has put me down on the ground, he's so strong now, and that is just reinforceing his behavior.
What to do?
