Thanks everyone. Yall are sure helpful. 2-3 days ago he was kinda laid back (not lethargic but not as active as normal) but he starts to pick up the energy yesterday. I gotta say, I don't want him to get sick but boy that calm puppy was so lovable lol no jumping.. no biting... just laying there by the kitchen while I'm cooking...
His poop has been normal so I guess he just doesn't feel good in his tummy but nothing major. But If I ate two pies in 5 minutes I would probably feel sick too

um--pumpkin pie should have taken care of the pumpkin in his food problem. Pumpkin might cause diarreah. ech.

|PhoenixGuardian||You can put a bit of pumpkin on his food. It helps everything "pass through" better. Lol he sounds like he's got quite the appetite.|

|Heidigsd||I would be worried about the amount of fat in the Fondue for sure. All that fat could trigger pancreatitis. Hopefully he will be fine Pancreatitis|

|Shade||I would just keep an eye on him and limit his food for today. You can call the vet and get their opinon if you're really worried to give you peace of mind|

|MichaelE||None of that is dangerous, but that cheese might stop him up for a day.|

9mo ate two pies and half a pot worth of cheese fondue
We host a party last weekend. At the end of the night we had two pies (pumpkin and pecan) leftover. I sealed it and left it on the counter. I thought it was out of reach for Lincoln. He has jump on the counter before but he can only get to the certain angle of the counter. I left for a shower and when I came back there were only foil left. After I'm done freaking out I went to the sink to finish the dishes and saw that the cheese in the fondue pot that I was about to poor away and wash off is half gone. Looks like he has been eating that too. So I called all the friends that bring the food and ask for the recipe to see if there is anything deadly in there. As far as my research go, nothing is deadly but there are a lot of ingredients that are bad for dog. Here is whats all goes in.
- sweetened condense milk
- brown sugar
- white sugar
- vanilla extract
- whipping cream
- chicken broth
- Jarlsberg cheese
- Swiss cheese
Now the question is.... what do I do? I have been watching him to see if he looks sick but he hasn't show any signs. He woke me up at midnight that he needs to go potty and he was thirsty. This is not usual but not too unusual either. This morning he wasn't as active as normal. When I say that I mean he doesn't jump on me while I was cooking or eating. He was kinda chill and chewing on bones. Again, this is not usual but I would loooove to think that he is growing up and starting to be calm... maybe a little too much to ask at this point..
So, other than he ate 3 months worth of treat, is there anything I need to do??? Should I take him to the vet even though he doesn't look sick??
