Football players to collect donations for injured Roane County High School teen
Posted: Oct 21, 2013 5:15 PM EDT
Haynes, 15, broke his neck on the first play of the school's game against Sequoyah.
He underwent a four-hour surgery Saturday night at UT Medical Center. Doctors say the surgery went well, but he will no longer be able to play football.
The walk will start at the Gravel Pit across Highway 70 in front of the Kingston Community Center and travel to the 58 Landing along the walking path.
Some members of the football team will collect money from the public at the Gravel Pit during the walk.
Additional donations can be made to:
Citizen's National Bank

Start off of the football game a 15 year old boy got his neck broke at the first kickoff at the game. He went thru surgery today and please give him and his family a lot of prayers please!
