|wolfy dog||Dogs that are tired do not have to yawn. Yawning is a stress reliever / calming signal. I personally do not associate my dog's yawning with being tired. I know they are tired when they don't bug me and drop down wherever I stand still for a while or you'll hear that crashing sound of "a bag of bones" along with a deep sigh.|

Difference in body language - tired vs. bored?
My 10 month working line bitch seems to have the same body language when she is bored as well as tired; makes it hard for me to discern whether I need to do more play time, mental stimulation etc...
Today I did loads of mental work, a good long walk where she yawned half way through and some training. I also brought her out for a good fetch session. She still has the bored look about her...
Any ideas? Thanks.
