|Sarah~||Yeah I thought about calling the police, but I didn't want to waste their time if it turned out to be nothing. But maybe I should have since even the dogs got weird vibes off of him :/|

|KZoppa||I'm glad Eko let the guy know he was unwelcome. With him coming BACK though, I'd have been calling the police. That's just not okay. Glad everyone is safe|

Trust me, my dogs don't go outside without me, period. Rain or snow or sun I go out there with them. It drives my boyfriend crazy lol
I know firsthand what can happen, my old neighbor poisoned my golden retriever in my yard while she was out by herself. She died, and once I got another dog I made sure they were never in the yard alone. And we've had scary guys hanging around our backyard before, the last one was at night and Eko about bit him because the guy was an idiot. He stood right at the fence with his hood pulled down over his face staring right at Eko. You could see all his fur standing on end!

I am happy that your boy is aware of his surroundings and helps keep you safe.
I would not leave your dogs outside alone, especially in a bad area and because I am also paranoid.
I live in a bad neighborhood too. If I didn't have my GSD then I couldn't stay there not even for 1 night.

Glad I have a GSD today
I don't live in a great neighborhood, so I am pretty wary of people lingering around our house. Today when I let the dogs out to go potty there was some shady looking guy hanging around our back fence. Eko saw him and made a beeline straight to the fence to check it out while Xena wouldn't even leave the porch. The guy noticed Eko right away and made some weird whiny sound then said "Hey buddy, what's going on?" Eko froze and stared at him for a minute, then started barking like crazy, those big, booming GSD barks I like Then he started hopping from side to side and looking very agitated, the guy turned around and left pretty quickly after that. I called Eko back but he only got about halfway to me before he turned and ran back to that spot, making huffy sounds and pacing back and forth. Then a couple minutes later, the guy comes BACK. He is further back then before but still close to the fence. That really set Eko off he was jumping at the fence and hopping off, I looked down at Xena and she was still on the porch, shaking so bad I could see it from feet away and she peed herself. I got her back inside and and when I looked back up at Eko the guy was gone again. It took me quite a while to settle him down and get him to stop hanging around the back door to go back outside.
I fully believe dogs are the best judge of character and I am convinced that guy was up to no good. Glad Mr. Eko was there to let him know he should pick a different house.
