|Sarah~||I wish ours was just flat 10, here it's 46 dollars minus 18 if the dog is neutered, minus 10 if you have a fenced yard and minus another 3 if the dog is microchipped.|

|llombardo||Barking dogs don't bother me at all. I love the sound if dogs and kids. My own dogs aren't really barkers. So I pay attention when they do ANC I make sure they stop.|

|Nigel||$10 is cheap, ours is twenty or at least it was, I'm overdue so I guess I'll found out. When our girls were younger they liked to bark at the mailman, putting the blinds down worked according to our neighbor, so definitely worth a try.|

I don't leave my girl outside at all, she is better off in my house but I'll just close the window upstairs from now on when I leave the house for work. I'm also going to put up blinds on that window where she can see other dogs walk by.
I live in a town house so we have like ten homes on the block with a sound barrier wall at the end of the street.
She isn't one of those dogs that barks all day and all night, she will bark if someone rings the door bell or walks up to my door. She is six months old still so I still have time to teach her not to bark for nothing, which she doesn't do much. She will bark some nights once in a blue moon and look up at the air with me wondering if my home is haunted.
She will though how ever if I'm out with her on my front lawn to get her to go potty will bark at people and animals if they are close to our home trying to get into their home which I try to make her knock it off.
I did learn that I need to go to the Treasury office to get a license for her which is 10 dollars with me providing her rabies shot record which isn't a big deal for me. 10 dollars for the whole year is cheap.

|NTexFoster||guess i'm lucky to have hyper-focus (form of add) b/c I generally don't notice things like barking (or people trying to talk to me) while I'm working.|

|selzer||I just passed out chicken to my crew. They will be quiet for the rest of the night, but that was a pretty noisy couple of minutes to be sure.|

I don't tolerate barking dogs very well. I make an effort to keep my dogs quiet. If they alert I go see what they are barking at. If it's nothing I tell them "enough" and they stop. All this take 1 to 2 minutes tops.
My neighbor makes an effort to keep his dog quiet too and I appreciate it. My other neighbor wasn't so good at keeping the dogs quiet, but we talked to her and now their dogs are quiet too. I have no idea why some people let their dogs bark incessantly.
I have never called animal control. We would always talk to the person first.

|Sarah~||Yes I have to say that dogs barking are annoying any time of day. I work at night and sleep during the day and my neighbor's dogs on BOTH sides bark incessantly. :/|

a barking dog is a nuisance whether it's day or night. what does
being current on her shots have to do with her barking?

If you go to the top of any forum section you will see the board rules. Good thing to read. Some of the language NOT censored in the post can be considered offensive.
Never hurts to figure out a way to keep your dog from being the barker (like covering the window when you are gone and can't tell her to be quiet)
