I've never shipped a puppy, but I would imagine you'll be hard pressed to find any guarantees if you're shipping the dog all the way across the world.
The Germans (Europeans) generally don't offer any guarantees. They have solid breeding practices, but if you get a dog with a problem, oh well, try again next time. Another thing that I have heard about German breeders is that unless you have solid contacts you're probably not getting the "best" puppy out of the litter. They like to keep their best pups near home, showing, and possible breeding dogs in the future (makes sense if you think about it).
American guarantees usually give you a replacement dog if you'll return the original dog. So...you find out the dog has HD before the age of one, send it back, they'll give you a puppy out of the next available litter. Usually this involves either the OFFA certifying that the dog has HD, or the breeder's trusted vet taking a look at the x-rays and seeing HD. I'm just imagining the logistics of doing this when it comes to any disease...shipping a dog back and forth and the customs that has to be involved in that. No clue why any breeder would agree to it.

|StarkPes||I found out that this breeder, Alta Tollhaus cares about their sold puppies and would like to know how their puppy are doing with the new owner! That is great.|

The USD 5000 that I was preparing is actually for one of Mittelwest litter.. As you know, her price for each litter aren't cheap. Before I buy any puppy from her, I do some research to avoid a major loss of money and got cheated. You can see why I'm clearly cancelled off the hope to get puppy from that kennel. The kennel owner have transporting puppy to Europe but haven't gotten far like Asia but I don't think I will get any puppy from this kennel.
I do hope that this Alta Tollhaus does provided international shipping or I have to increase my budget to get a puppy from Germany FYI, Malaysia currency is surprisingly low .
$ 1 = RM 0.31

yea, that is why I deleted my recommendations...I know many breeders will not ship out of the US (except to Canada or Mexico maybe)
The Germans are more used to shipping around the world....

|onyx'girl||I don't know that they'd be willing to ship to Malaysia. Good luck in your search.|

Thanks! I'm located in East Asia, Malaysia.
Did you know how much does a puppy from the Alta-Tollhaus? I better prepare myself a hefty sum of money for the transporting the puppy + transport agent fees (Which will cost me around USD 500 above) + quarantine fees for the puppy.
I'll try to search on google on this breeder and what people posted or complain 'bout them.
