Heiny-Sniff from WV :)
Hello, all! I'm finding so much helpful information on the forums and wanted to say thank you (and hello!).
Our family (2 parental units, 3 boys aged 11, 13, and 15, a 10 y.o. chocolate lab, an 11+ y.o. flat-coated retriever, 2 cats, a guinea pig, and 4 chickens) is expecting to bring home our GSD puppy (Otto) on 10/5, when he will be 8 weeks, to the day. I haven't had a GSD in the family since I was in my early teens (my father trained Dobermans and GSDs for police and security use), and I'm anxious and excited, of course.
I look forward to learning from you all
