|marbury||I've never worried about plugging any of the exercise equipment into anything other than a standard socket. I've also never had a fuse blown. But I would really recommend completely unplugging your treadmill when it is not in use. The heaviest drain on the electric bill is the trickle charge they pull when off but plugged in.|

|Shade||I just got a human (not dog specific) treadmill last weekend, I've used it a few times and am teaching Delgado as well but I haven't had a issue with it blowing a circuit yet. It's my parents that I'm borrowing to see if I like it and I know they've never used a dedicated circuit either and it's been with them through two houses. It's too early to know about energy costs yet|

For those of you who have a treadmill for your dogs, did you notice any major difference in your light bill each month and if it requires a dedicated circuit. I asked a sales person about it and they didn't seem to know about the circuit requirements, but did say that you have to rewire your home sometimes.
