|jjk454ss||I spoke to the vet. I found out triflexis is flea and heartworm prevention, Comfortis is only flea. Since I have some heartgaurd left I'm getting some Comfortis tomorrow. Then I'll probably start using triflexis from then on.|

|TAR HEEL MOM||Yes..it does. I'm sorry I didn't mention that. Here's my story. I had a JRT (RIP Jack Daniels) that had used Frontline his entire life. All of a sudden he and my house were infested with fleas. I tried everything from Boric Acid to DE./ I had an inch of DE all over my house Turns out the fleas were smarter than the Frontline and my vet recommended Comfortis. Within 2 weeks every flea on the dog and more importantly in the house, were gone! A year or so after that Trifexis came on the market so we switched to that. I love it.|

|TAR HEEL MOM||Save yourself the trouble and go get some Comfortis. In my area of the country, the fleas have become immune to Frontline, it seems.|

I'm sure it's fleas, it's so hard to see them on him, but I've found a few. And my brothers dog was over and they found fleas on her the next day.
This is the link I found when searching "reapply frontline"

Are you sure the product you used before was "Petguard"? Is it possible that it was PetArmor? Do you know what the active ingredient is?
Also, where did you see on the Frontline website that you can apply every two weeks? The only thing I could find said not to reapply for 30 days. I would wait the 30 days.
It could be that the itching has nothing to do with fleas. I just got back from the vet today. She said this is a terrible time for environmental allergies.

Reapplying flea/tick treatment
I purchased Petgaurd Flea/Tick topical treatment at Sams Club, used it 3 times and ended up with fleas. I decided to get Frontline, since the other doesn't seem to o the job. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since applying the Petgaurd, can I apply Frontline tomorrow? On Frontlines site it says to apply every 2 weeks for Ticks, so I'm thinking it's safe every 2 weeks, but the Petgaurd might be different.
Any ideas on this? I hate seeing him scratching all the time.
