I'm glad she's doing better! When I read the title I immediately thought inner ear infection.
Chevy deserves extra bullysticks

|Daisy&Lucky's Mom||Wanted to just update. Chevy stopped showing any symptoms in an hour and a half no issues since . We had cleaned both ears and put medication in so perhaps her head shaking made her dizzy. she is fine jumping on the couch and the porch. No stumbling since Sunday early afternoon.Vet said bring her in if it starts up again.I think we are going to have too run some allergy panels on both the girls. They have ear issues alot.I wonder if my insurance company would believe their 10 year old girls who have two legs and need allergy screening?Yeah I know not going to happen.|

Thanks Jean. based on her ear issues maybe we have a middle ear infection but it was so sudden in onset, came on in literally 5 minutes improved with in the hour. She is still holding her ear down but her walking is a lot better. She is a stubborn lil girl and refuses to stay on her nice flat bed in the Florida room where there are no steps
We will be at the vet tomorrow.

Cleanedear and put drops in Now she's stumbling
Chevy has had some issues w/ ear gunk. she has meds w/ use for 3 to 5 days after a flair up. She was fine this morning jumped off the front porch climbed stairs no issues she was given drops this morning and within 15 minutes was having issues with stumbling and fell once. w/o weakness in her pegs or shoulders ,range of motion not impaired any however she's stumbling. We will either go to e-vet or if it improves in next hour wait to see vet in am. Could I have done something to her by putting in the drops this time. Anyone ever experience this? She just came in from our Florida room and no issues . No issues on stair that I could hear. She is holding her right ear down and is walking better. No signs of weakness or dragging her paws in the back. She is sitting next to me and she's not shaking her head or anything.. Watching her fall made both me and DH think of Daisy but I know its different. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.
