Message was posted last night....
Definitely a candidate for pyometra - an infected uterus...it can cause your dog to die if not treated promptly. PLEASE take her to an ER vet and please let us know she is OK

|Castlemaid||Wow Jean, those are scary statistics!|

I hope you have taken your dog to the vet.
25% (1 in 4) intact females will get pyometra before they reach ten years of age.
Let us know how things are please.

I think you need to take her to the vet. If it is after hours, then this is definitely a time when you want to go to an emergency vet. I would not wait even a couple of hours. Get her in quickly.
The smell indicates an infection. It is not a good sign.

Not sure what it could be...don't want to speculate.
Only you know if this is odd for her or feel like something may be wrong?
If you're worried and it doesn't seem right...I would go to the vet.
(At least that is what I would do.)
Sorry, that' s the best I advice can offer...hope she'll be ok.
Just my opinion.
